Singing lead for Won By One is Mike Whetsel. Mike has been performing for over forty years. During that time he has traveled with many professional groups including The Perrys and Greater Vision.

A multi-talented musician, Mike also plays piano, bass guitar, and harmonica. He is a gifted songwriter and is blessed at hearing the intricate harmonies that set some artists apart from the rest.

Won By One is proud to claim Mike as one of their own. His talent at the piano adds a dimension to Won By One concerts that cannot be equaled by the use of sound tracks alone.

Mike accepted the Lord as his Savior at a very young age. His heart for serving the Lord and those around him is evident in the lyrics of the many songs he has penned.

Mike is a dedicated father of two children Mikayla and Carson and resides with his wife Mary Ruth in Morristown, Tennessee. They are active members of First Baptist Church of Morristown.
